Flash not working in Firefox Ubuntu 11.04 | 14.x |16.04 | 16.10

In my case I have fixed this problem using the following commands:

sudo apt-get purge adobe-flashplugin

sudo apt-get autoremove

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
