How to completely get rid of abrt service

Disable the abrtd service

service abrtd status
systemctl stop abrtd
systemctl disable abrtd
systemctl daemon-reload

At this step you can get when accessing SSH

‘abrt-cli status’ timed out

Check yum:

yum list abrt*

And remove:

yum remove abrt*

Run cagefs update if any:

cagefsctl --force-update

Firstly test if you don’t have a network issue

If its ok, try to wipe out cache

yum clean all

The problem is still here: install fastestmirror plugin

Update /etc/yum.conf with

proxy=socks5h://localhost:11211

Run:

ssh -D 11211 [email protected]

XX.XX.XX.XX - must has the full web access
